There is a song I would like to recall. "Easy". It is all about being cool and relax like a fine sunday morning. Well, is sunday an easy day?
The moment you wake up groggily (you slept late the night before because your favorite football team was shite), there are strings of chores you have to attend to. First, you have to run to your favourite mamak shop to buy roti canai on the go. Roti canai can be very popular on weekend mornings and if you are late, it will be gone.
Then you have to scamper to your nearest store to get groceries and in between the mamak and the store trip, you have to squeeze in a car wash. I have posted an earlier entry about the horror of getting grocery.
Just before having lunch you will have to do some washing. It usually rains in the afternoon so it is awfully excellent if you have your clothes all dried up just before it rains.
After lunch you have a small room for a short nap but you try not too because you fear that if you oversleep, your bedtime routine will go haywire.
Cleaning up comes next. You get your vacuum cleaner out and fight the dust. Make sure you dont miss a spot or else your spouse will kill your KPI. They do keep one you know. Its their dirty little secret.
Then it is the excursion to the shopping mall where you struggle to keep your spouse from buying everything she sees. Women can be very scary when it comes to shopping. You get dinner at the mall and drive home.
Before you go to sleep you worry about monday morning blues.
Sunday is not an easy day at all but i feel very english today.
